We are prepping for another Recess Market for late February 2024. It is a real life platform for local artists to showcase creative pieces and an opportunity to meet others, enjoy food, drinks, and music. Each market has been a success with over 500+ attendees overall, 30 vendors and multiple sponsors. This year’s event will be held at The Combine. Submitting an application and tabling is free — no fees, no strings attached.

Be Kind and Rewind, For a Free Palestine w/ @moepramanick and @c.litchmore
An important Be Kind Rewind, For a Free Palestine 🍉 - the event that allowed us to reflect, share and discuss. Putting cowboys theme on hold to redirect our attention towards urgent calls for Palestinian liberation.
We watched a screening of Gaza Mon Amour, by Palestinian filmmaker twins Tarzan & Arab Nasser. Donations were made to purchase e-sims for folks in Palestine to stay connected, and participated in an email zap to demand an end to the siege on Gaza.

Shoutout to Alex Wong for coming out to our studio for another edition of Recess Select. ✨
Alex brought along a cool assortment of sports, hip-hop, and pop culture items, along with some quirky vintage finds. Oh, and there were signed copies of his latest book "Prehistoric" too! Good times all around!
